Sonia was the featured artist for the month of July at Lunaria Gallery, Silverton, Oregon.
Portals and Passages, her show of nature inspired gelatin monotypes was on view July 2-28.
Opening reception was from 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014.

Monotypes:  one-of-a-kind hand pulled prints.  These original images are built in layers of acrylic paint transferred from a sheet of gelatin.  The receptivity of the gelatin surface allows for multiple textural effects in a process both fascinating and rewarding.

My 2014 Sketchbook was on a cross country tour
stopping in Portland, Oregon the summer of 2014.  We were able to see hours of amazing and inventive sketchbooks, marvel,
browse, read, and get lost in a creative blitz.   What fun!
